'Fortnite' Season 5 Leak May Reveal Location of the Next Portal Breach

What will appear this time?

The start of Fortnite Season 5 is only a few days away, and the oddities continue to pile up. In previous days, signs around the island disappeared, but now strange items are appearing with a new one likely showing up on Sunday.

Twitter account @FNLeak tweeted Saturday or what appears to be a new portal forming near Moisty Mire. These rifts showed up after the rocket launch on June 30, but so far, they appeared on signs across the island and then disappeared the next day. At this hill near Moisty Mire, there is no sign or anything else nearby. If it’s like the Viking anchor from Saturday, expect to see something new show up.

Earlier in the month, the same Twitter account made a list of items that would disappear due to the portals. Included were multiple signs such as the big Durr Burger and Mr. Tomato Head, but there were also new assets such as the Viking anchor, a stagecoach, and skeleton. Data miners found these new assets, which included various items from the Old West. This lines up with the current time travel theory for Fortnite Season 5.

To add to the mystery, the missing Durr Burger sign appeared in a California desert on Friday. At the location was an agent who gave people visiting a car with a number to call, which only gave a strange noise that sounds similar to the sound coming from a portal. A Reddit user posted a video from a livestream with one person asking questions to the agent, who didn’t have much to say about the strange events.

As mentioned in the tweet, the portal at Moisty Mire should materialize something at 4 p.m. Eastern on Sunday. Fortnite Season 5 is set to start on July 12, which means expect more strange happenings in the remaining days of Season 4.

With so few days left in the season, Fortnite player with a Battle Pass should try to clear out some of the easier Weekly Challenges before it’s too late.
