The Falcon Heavy is SpaceX’s rocket system that’s comprised of three rocket cores that create 5 million pounds of thrust from 27 Merlin rocket engines. Its first scheduled launch was set for February 6, 2018 from launchpad 39-A at Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral Florida. The rocket will the most powerful operational rocket in the world at the time of its launch, able to send heavier payloads to space.
