The Arrowverse is about to add even more heroes. Here's who, and when to expect them.

Fans of the Arrowverse already knew that Black Lightning will join the other DC heroes in the upcoming crossover event “Crisis on Infinite Earths.” But an episode synopsis released by The CW reveals exactly when Black Lightning will join the heroes, along with another iconic hero from DC’s past.

On Thursday, The CW revealed new details about the first three episodes of “Crisis on Infinite Earths,” crossover that adapts the 1985 event comic book of the same name. The special will unite characters from the TV shows Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, Black Lightning, and Batwoman in a colossal five-part story in which the DC heroes seek to prevent the destruction of the multiverse.

These are official summaries, so there’s predictably no major spoilers, but they do reveal when exactly some people’s favorite characters make their initial appearance.

Most interesting, the summary of “Part Three” confirms Black Lightning (Cress Williams) and The Flash of Earth-90 (John Wesley Shipp), who starred in his own series The Flash on CBS in 1990. Although Shipp was previously confirmed for the crossover, his many roles throughout the Arrowverse made it difficult to know which character he would play. These summaries confirm he will, in fact, reprise his Barry Allen from the classic series. Shipp previously played the same role in last year’s event, “Elseworlds.”

The summaries also confirm other things we already know. Tom Welling and Erica Durance, guest actors from The CW’s original superhero hit Smallville, and Kevin Conroy, voice actor of the classic Batman: The Animated Series, will appear during the Batwoman episode. We also knew Osiric Chau would debut as Ryan Choi, the new Atom, in “Crisis on Infinite Earths,” but the summaries reveal he will make his first appearance on The Flash.

The breakdowns, plus the poster, for the first three episodes are below:

Supergirl (December 8, 8 p.m. Eastern)

Supergirl kicks off the crossover with the initial gathering of the heroes. Audrey Marie Anderson, who’s starred in several seasons of Arrow as Lyla Michaels, makes her debut as the Harbinger, the human assistant of the Monitor.

“THE KICKOFF TO THE EPIC TELEVISON CROSSOVER EVENT, CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS - The Monitor (guest star LaMonica Garrett) sends Harbinger (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) to gather the worlds’ greatest heroes - Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), The Flash (guest star Grant Gustin), Green Arrow (guest star Stephen Amell), Batwoman (guest star Ruby Rose), White Canary (guest star Caity Lotz), The Atom (guest star Brandon Routh) and Superman (guest star Tyler Hoechlin) - in preparation for the impending Crisis. With their worlds in imminent danger, the superheroes suit up for battle while J’onn (David Harewood) and Alex (Chyler Leigh) recruit Lena (Katie McGrath) to help them find a way to save the people of Earth-38.”

Batwoman (December 9, 8 p.m. Eastern)

Kevin Conroy, Tom Welling, and Erica Durance appear in the crossover via the Batwoman episode. The synopsis reveals that Batwoman (Ruby Rose) and Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) “head out to find Bruce Wayne,” but will Batwoman/Kate recognize her cousin? Or is this Bruce Wayne a total stranger from a totally different universe?

“CAN THE REAL CLARK KENT PLEASE STAND UP? PART TWO OF CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS CONTINUES WITH SPECIAL GUEST STARS TOM WELLING, ERICA DURANCE AND KEVIN CONROY – The group uses Ray’s (guest star Brandon Routh) invention to track new recruits to help save the universe. The Monitor (guest star LaMonica Garrett) sends Iris (guest star Candice Patton), Clark (guest star Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois (guest star Elizabeth Tulloch) in search of a mysterious Kryptonian, while Kate (Ruby Rose) and Kara (guest star Melissa Benoist) head out to find Bruce Wayne (guest star Kevin Conroy). In addition, Mia (guest star Katherine McNamara) challenges Sara (guest star Caity Lotz), Rory (guest star Dominic Purcell) discovers a hidden talent, and Lex Luthor (guest star Jon Cryer) returns.

The Flash (December 10, 8 p.m. Eastern)

The Flash will see Black Lightning make his long-awaited debut in the Arrowverse after several seasons of his show, Black Lightning, being far removed from the rest of the multiverse. John Wesley Shipp will also return as his classic Flash, while Osiric Chau debuts as the next Atom.

“BLACK LIGHTNING JOINS THE ARROWVERSE IN THE THIRD CHAPTER OF THE CROSSOVER – Pariah (Tom Cavanagh) enlists Black Lightning (guest star Cress Williams) to help stop the Anti-Monitor (guest star LaMonica Garrett) after Flash-90 (guest star John Wesley Shipp) shares what he learned from his battle in ‘Elseworlds.’ With the help of Black Lightning, Barry (Grant Gustin), Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) come up with a plan that could save them all. Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) has a heart-to-heart with Ryan Choi (guest star Osric Chau), while Oliver (guest star Stephen Amell) and Diggle (guest star David Ramsey) return to an old familiar stomping ground.”

“Crisis on Infinite Earths” begins on December 8 at 8 p.m. Eastern on The CW.
