Find Out Who Stole Portal Gun Plans in 'Rick and Morty' Clue Game

"Was it you, Morty? burp Ya little piece of shit!"

'Rick and Morty'

Was it Morty in the Garage with the Laser Gun? The latest Rick and Morty board game, “Rick and Morty: Clue Back in Blackout,” hopes to answer that very question as everyone’s favorite animated sci-fi series gets the whodunit Clue treatment. Even Mr. Poopybutthole is getting in on the action. Let’s just hope Beth doesn’t shoot him in the Smith Family Dining Room again.

Due to ship in August 2017 from Merchoid, “Back in Blackout” veers away from the typical murder-mystery format of typical Clue to instead focus on who stole the plans to Rick’s famed portal gun.

Here’s the official description:

The plans to Rick’s portal gun have been stolen! It’s up to Rick, Morty, Summer, Jerry, Beth and Mr. Poopybutthole to get them back. They must find out WHO stole the plans, WHERE they are hiding, and WHAT item they used to succeed in the heist. It’s an inter-dimensional mystery!

Was it Gearhead or a Gromflomite that stole the plans?

It looks like characters like Gearhead, a Gromflomite, and even the wretched Tammy could each be one of the six possible suspects.

Rick's weapon of choice is his trusty flask and Morty, of course, has zero chill.

The addition of Mr. Poopybutthole as a playable character in “Back in Blackout” could be the single greatest thing about this game.

Some of the show's best settings are included.

The board itself is a confusing collection of planets and dimensions from the show. There are different dimensions, planets both in and out of the Solar System, and even the Microverse.

This isn’t the first time Rick and Morty game. Other titles include a mobile Pokémon rip-off, a Rick and Morty Monopoly board game, a Mafia-style “Total Rickall” game, and a dumb game for Jerrys where you just pop balloons.

“Rick and Morty: Clue Back in Blackout” is available now for pre-orders and will ship sometime in August 2017.
