Watch the Trailer for Dave Chappelle's Netflix Comedy Special

And it's appropriately hilarious.

Dave Chappelle’s been gone for a long time, but he’s finally returning to the screen with two stand-up specials from his “personal comedy vault.” They’ll be premiering on Netflix March 21, but first, we’ve gotten a taste of what to expect from a new trailer.

Delving into the dangers of salt and ISIS, Chappelle is as on-the-edge as ever before. These two-in-one specials — the ones from Chappelle’s “personal comedy vault” — will drop before an all-new Netflix original special, directed by Stan Lathan. The new special has yet to be given a premiere date, but it will undoubtedly be searingly relevant and appropriately bruising.

Chappelle hosted Saturday Night Live back in November as a kind of lead-up to his triumphant return. The cheering crowds in the new trailer provide a look into the kind of excitement commonly associated with Chappelle — he receives standing ovations and roaring bouts of laughter time and time again.

The two comedy specials from Chappelle’s personal vault premiere on Netflix March 21, with a new Netflix original comedy special still awaiting a release date.

“Dave Chappelle is a legendary voice in comedy — searing, vital, and now more than ever, essential,” Lisa Nishimura, VP of Original Documentary and Comedy, said in a press release in November for the initial announcement. “Dave’s three new specials promise to be some of the most anticipated events in comedy, and we are honored he will mark his global return on Netflix.”
