'Fortnite' Week 5 Secret Battle Star Location: Utopia Loading Screen Guide

The new Storm Flip makes an appearance in this week's loading screen.

After a bizarre new format for the Utopia challenge in Week 4, Fortnite: Battle Royale Season 9 is back to its old familiar tricks with a free battle star available to any players who’ve completed five full weeks of challenges (that’s 35 total).

Week 5 only just began Thursday morning, but for anyone who quickly tore through new challenges involving wind turbines and race tracks, they’ll unlock a new loading screen featuring a Mysterio-looking character wielding what looks like the new Storm Flip introduced as part of the version 9.20 update. The character is riding through the slipstream with lightning crackling in his hand.

The clue we want to focus on, however, is on the right side of the screen, etched into the slipstream disc. It says B2, B3, C2, and C3.

The coordinates are hidden on the edge of the slipstream disc.

Coordinate-based loading screen challenges were introduced in Season 6, and since then we’ve gotten around two per season. In every instance, the four coordinates meet at a specific point somewhere on the map. The intersection is usually on the side of some hill or the corner of some ledge that no one has ever visited before. The latter is the case here.

There’s a wind turbine just east of Haunted Hills, and the secret battle star is located on the same ledge as that wind turbine’s base. Just look for the patch of brown grass on the southwest corner of that ledge.

The location of this secret battle star is next to Haunted Hills.

Players should be able to land directly on the brown patch to claim the secret battle star with ease. But be careful. With the wind turbine challenge still active, there’s bound to be many players in the area. It just might be total chaos.

According to the in-game countdown, Fortnite Season 9 doesn’t end until July 23, so players have around six weeks before this Utopia challenge disappears forever.

Fortnite: Battle Royale Season 9, Week 6 should begin next week on Thursday, June 13 at around 9 a.m. Eastern.
