'Fortnite' Week 3 Secret Battle Star Location: Utopia Loading Screen Guide
Welcome to dog town.
Fortnite: Battle Royale Season 9, Week 3 means another secret battle star rather than a hidden banner, and we’ve got everything you need to interpret the clue and claim the prize.
Week 3 began Thursday morning, adding challenges like the flying disc toss, but once players complete all seven, they unlock the secret loading screen and the privilege of claiming the secret battle star that loading screen leads to.
Who let the dogs out? In the newest Utopia screen, four different dog pets are standing around in some kind of tropical park staring at a new skin that’s a pug-faced humanoid … literally. They seem really excited about it, even if we’re looking at the most unsettling skin since Peely was revealed last season. There’s also a boombox nearby, so they’re clearly having a great time.
In the background to the bottom-right, we can also see a Siamese cat surveying the scene. Along with the Pug character, we haven’t actually seen this pet in-game, so this loading screen not only teases a secret battle star, but also some upcoming cosmetics.
The loading screen clue is part of the graffiti in the foreground, just below the Mocha Bonesy with the red scarf. The image depicted is of a series of vehicles stacked on top of one another, with the battle star at the very top. There’s an upside-down truck on top of an ice cream truck on top of an RV on top of a tractor trailer truck.
This location is just outside the front gates of Junk Junction, barely to the southeast.
Getting to the top is precarious if you’re approaching from the ground, so the best course of action is to dive directly down from the start of the match to claim this battle star.
Here’s an additional visual aid.
According to the in-game countdown, Season 9 doesn’t end until July 23, so players have precisely two more months before this Utopia challenge disappears forever.
Fortnite: Battle Royale Season 9, Week 3 should begin next week on Thursday, May 30 at around 10:30 a.m. Eastern.
