'Fortnite' Plane Locations Map: Where to Find the X-4 Stormwing in Season 7
This might be the coolest update yet.
Fortnite: Battle Royale just made a ton of major changes to introduce Season 7, from new skins to a brand new iceberg biome to powerful new challenges. But the biggest change of all may be the addition of a powerful new vehicle: the X-4 Stormwing Plane. Here’s what you need to know to find them on the map, including at least one location where you’ll probably see a plane.
There are at least eight different locations across the map where you can find a plane in Fortnite, so it shouldn’t be too tough to find one. Then again, with 100 eager players gunning for an X-4 in each match you’ll definitely face some competition. So don’t dawdle.
Thankfully, we’ve got all eight locations where you can find a plane in Fortnite, along with a handy map to help you track them down.
Here’s the list of plane locations in Fortnite (courtesy of Heavy):
- I5 – On the mountain by Loney Lodge
- H8 – Located between Fatal Fields and Paradise Palms on a hill
- F5 – West of Dusty Divot on the mountain
- F3 – South of Lazy Links by the river
- D3 – Northeast of Pleasant Park on the mountain
- A8 – The hangers at Frosty Flights
- B5 – Between the mountains north of the unnamed soccer stadium by the Viking Village
- E8 – On the mountain north of Happy Hamlet
And here’s our map to help guide your way through Fortnite’s new snowy landscape:
The maps are scattered pretty evenly across the map, but your best bet may be to head to the new iceberg biome in the bottom left corner of the island. That will set you up to snag one of three X-4 planes in the area. Plus you can check out all the other changes.
It might also help to play with a full team. Not only will that reduce the number of competitors racing to find a plane, but since each plane cat fit an entire squad you won’t have to leave your friends behind when you achieve liftoff.
Good luck and happy flying!
