'Fortnite' Crown of RVs, Metal Turtle, and Submarine Locations, Video, Map

Dancing in a winter wonderland!

Huge changes have just hit the world of Fortnite: Battle Royale, but there are still landmarks to dance on to get extra Battle Stars from Season 7 challenges.

Fortnite Season 7 kicked off in the early hours of Thursday, December 6, bringing with it some radical new map changes, a new Battle Pass, and some familiar challenge types. One multi-stage challenge has players dance on top of three specific landmarks: an RV Crown, metal turtle, and submarine.

That last one especially might be surprising, as it’s in the totally new winter biome that’s blanketed in lots of snow, but we’ve got you covered with video guides and a map showing where to go to complete these stages.

It’s always the case with stage-based challenges that players can only complete one stage per match. That being said, the best course of action is to target each specific location at the start of a match and then play through (if they survive), targeting other challenges.

Here's every location for the Season 7, Week 1, "dance on top" challenge.

These three landmarks send players to three drastically different climate zones, which feels totally bizarre in a way, especially now that you can find desert less than one square away from snow.

Where to Dance on Top of a Crown of RVs for Fortnite Season 7

The crown of RVs is located in the deep southeast, atop a small raised cliff adjacent to the southern town in Paradise Palms on the eastern edge right off the coastline. Because it’s so high up, it would be troublesome to build ramps from the ground, so it’s best to land there straightaway. As an added plus, there’s a zipline on the western edge of the platform that leads down.

Where to Dance on Top of a Metal Turtle for Fortnite Season 7

Much like the huge llama and fox that’ve been on the island for quite some time, the metal turtle should be familiar to most veteran players. It’s also located near the coast, except it’s between Lonely Lodge and Wailing Woods and also on top of a raised ledge. This one’s a little bit more accessible than the first.

Where to Dance on Top of a Submarine for Fortnite Season 7

The final step sends players to a narrow peak deep into the new wintery area in the southwestern corner of the map. It’s hard to miss on account of the submarine lodge in the top. The submarine itself looks kind of like a helicopter without its wingblades as it’s very retro in design.

This location is southwest of Polar Peak but closer to Frosty Flights, just barely southeast. It would be incredibly difficult to build a ramp up to this location, so of all three, this one needs to be done on the initial skydive down.

According to the in-game countdown, Fortnite Season 7 doesn’t end until February 27, 2019. So players have plenty of time to tackle this and other challenges.

Here’s a look at the new winter wonderland that is Fortnite: Battle Royale Season 7 in the new trailer.
