Here's Exactly When You Can Start Watching the 'She-Ra' Reboot on Netflix

For the honor of Grayskull! The highly anticipated She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is coming to Netflix on November 13 (tomorrow!) as part of a deal between the streaming giant and Dreamworks. Here’s exactly what time you can start watching the She-Ra reboot on Netflix.

She-Ra was original set to debut on Netflix on November 16, which fits with the companies pattern of releasing new original content on Friday, but earlier this month that company bumped up its schedule for a few days. It’s unclear exactly why, though it’s possible Netflix is simply responding to overwhelming nostalgic demand for the 1980s cartoon hero.

As for the exact She-Ra release time. Netflix almost always debuts new shows and movies at 3 a.m. Eastern. That may sound like an odd time, but remember that the company is based on California, so it’s actually releasing new content at exactly midnight Pacific time. Unfortunately, that means you’ll have to stay up pretty late if you’re hoping to watch from the East coast. Though thankfully, the fact that it’s launching a few days early means you’ll have plenty of time to binge through She-Ra no matter which time zone you live in.

Netflix’s She-Ra reboot borrows the basic premise of the original series, but makes a ton of changes to both the plot and the cast of characters. When the story begins, our hero Adora is actually working for evil horde to take out the princess rebellion, but after discovering a magic sword and transforming into She-Ra she realizes she’s been lied to her entire life.

That may sound like a big spoiler, but it’s really not. This all happens within the first episode, quickly setting up a story that should take us through Season 1 and beyond.

She-Ra hits Netflix on November 13.
