Did This 'Avengers 4' Lego Leak Just Spoil the Plot of the Movie?

Lego

We’re still six months away from the release of ‘Avengers 4,’ but merchandising waits for no man, woman, or giant purple space being. Last week, an alleged leaked box for some Avengers 4 action figures hinted that an even “greater” threat than Thanos could turn up in the film. Now, some new details on Avengers 4 Lego may provide even more information.

The latest leak comes from Instagram user falconfan1414, who consistently reveals information on upcoming Lego sets. In the latest post, they share details on five upcoming Lego sets allegedly tied to Avengers 4, revealing working titles and how many pieces each box will contain:

  • Captain America Kit: $20 and 167 pieces
  • War Machine Vehicle: $35 and 362 pieces
  • Iron Man location set: $60 and 524 pieces
  • Avengers 4 big vehicle: $80 and 832 pieces
  • Avengers 4 location set: $100 an 699 pieces

Before we dive into what this could all mean for the plot of Avengers 4, it’s important to remember that these Lego sets rarely reflect the exact movies they’re based on. Most of the time there’s a pretty big difference between what’s happening in the Lego world and in the official Marvel Cinematic Universe. But this is still a pretty intruiging leak, so let’s have some fun with it.

The most intriguing listing of the bunch is that “War Machine Vehicle.” Clearly it’s a smaller set. Maybe it’s just an armored car or a small plane. Or maybe it’s some sort of advanced suit made by Tony Stark, kind of like the Hulkbuster armor but for War Machine. There’s not much to back this up in the comics, but that’s never stopped Marvel Studios before.

Of course, this is just speculation, but at the very least it suggests that Don Cheadle’s character could play a big role in Avengers 4 — which makes sense considering half of the Avengers died at the end of Infinity War.

The other big question mark is the larger $80 Avengers 4 “big vehicle.” The name suggests our heroes could get some new sort of ship in their quest to undo the events of Infinity War. Again, we’re just speculating, but it’s still pretty exciting.

As for the rest of them, there’s not much to say for now, but hopefully falconfan1414 will return soon with even more details — and maybe a few leaked photos.

Avengers 4 hits theaters on May 3, 2018.
