Anyone can pre-order the new iPhone XS Max on Friday, with its bevy of new features and admittedly impressive specs. But you know what else you could do on Friday? Take a long weekend vacation and head to the beach. There are a lots of beach-side properties you can rent for a stay this Friday night through Sunday night for literally less than the new iPhone costs, even on such short notice.

The iPhone XS Max price makes it the most expensive a consumer phone ever at a stunning $1,449 for the 512 GB version. For less than that, you could go on a beach getaway, to any number of places, this very weekend. What’s it going to be: the glowing screen of an iPhone, or a long weekend away, listening to waves crashing and smelling the salty air? Here are just ten beach-side properties (we only looked at rental hubs Airbnb and VRBO) that you could rent this weekend, for less than the cost of the iPhone XS Max.
