Luke Skywalker and Rey Might Reveal 'Star Wars' Trailer Tomorrow

Lucasfilm

Luke Skywalker and Rey have been hanging out a lot since their seemingly fated meeting on Ahch-To at the end of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and they’ve probably gotten pretty close. That must explain why they’re comfortable making a big Star Wars announcement together.

Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) and Daisy Ridley (Rey) will join the hosts of Good Morning America on Tuesday morning to make what’s being called a big announcement “you won’t want to miss.” This supposedly huge announcement will lead up to this weekend’s annual Star Wars Celebration, which will mark 40 years since the 1977 premiere of Star Wars: A New Hope.

No clue yet as to what that announcement could be. Since Star Wars Celebration is this coming weekend, a lot of fans are expecting a first look at the upcoming The Last Jedi, whether it comes in the form of a teaser, trailer, or first clip.

Perhaps the announcement on Good Morning America Tuesday morning will be a lead-up to that first look: a teaser trailer for the trailer itself? And who better to introduce that than Luke Skywalker and his new apprentice, Rey?

Good Morning America airs every weekday at 7 a.m. Eastern on ABC.
