Fortnite: Battle Royale Season X, Week 6 kicked off Thursday morning, bringing with it a series of Boogie Down challenges but a more time-sensitive mission set called “The Return” puts a vague focus on the floating purple cube island and Fatal Fields.

As of Friday morning, the first two challenges are already live, but according to early data-mining, here’s the full set:

  • Sniper rifle eliminations
  • Outlast opponents in solos or duos mode
  • Deal damage with scoped weapons to opponents
  • Search ammo boxes at Fatal Fields or Lonely Lodge
  • Use different throwable items in a single match
  • Land on top of a floating island and a meteor
  • Visit Loot Lake and Sunny Steps in the same match

Anyone who completes at least three of these challenges will unlock a loading screen that shows Sunflower looking out over Fatal Fields to see the Season X version of the purple cube island floating nearby with some kind of purple hurricane surrounding it. We’re definitely not in Kansas anymore.

The clue in this loading screen is pretty obvious.

Unlike with the Week 5 loading screen and other recent versions of this challenge, the Week 6 loading screen has a very simple clue. Near the center of the image, there’s the silhouette of a battle star outline on the small dock that juts into the pond not far from the cornfield.

The perspective of the camera faces northwest in the loading screen, so when oriented to a map, you can find this dock in what’s essentially the northwest corner of the pond in southeast Fatal Fields. If that sounds confusing, don’t worry. This small body of water is clearly visible on the in-game map.

Head to southeastern Fatal Fields once you've unlocked this loading screen.

Once you’re on the dock, just go as close to the northeastern edge as possible, and it should materialize. But again, you have to complete at least three “The Return” challenges first.

Like all loading screen challenges this season, this one will only be available until “The Return” ends at the start of the next weekly reset on Thursday.

Players have until 9 a.m. Eastern on Thursday, September 12 to access “The Return” challenges, the loading screen, and the treasure that it leads you to.
