'Fortnite' Soccer Field Locations: 7 Pitches Where You Can Score a Goal

It's way harder than it looks, so you'll need this guide.

One of the weirdest but most festive new Challenges to ever hit Fortnite is here in Week 7, when Epic Games wants you to “Score a goal on different pitches.” Players have to do this five times, but like many comparable Challenges, you have plenty of different locations that’ll work.

Week 7 kicked off on Thursday morning at 4 a.m. Eastern, and along with the typical Treasure Map Challenge, there’s this new Challenge that has you play soccer all across the map.

The Fortnite version 4.3 update earlier this week added a soccer stadium to the northwest area of the map, seemingly to celebrate the 2018 World Cup, and this new Challenge only adds to the frenzy.

So where are the actual locations of the soccer pitches and what’s the best way to complete this Challenge as fast as possible?

The aforementioned soccer stadium is a great place to start, especially because it’s a bit of an outlier, but here’s a full map of all the locations:

You only need to hit five of these seven locations.

The entire western section of the map has three fairly close to each other: the stadium, southern Pleasant Park, and the indoor soccer field west of Tilted Towers. It should be feasible to hit those three in a single match and then aim for the two in the northeast section in a different match.

This Challenge is similar to the recent one that had players had to spray paint over posters across the map or even the one that had called on them to dance in front of cameras, except this time around players have to score a goal using the soccer ball. So it’s a bit more involved than simply activating an emote. If a player encounters others, they are likely to die before losing some kind of fun impromptu soccer match.

Most of these fields have been around for quite some time, but the soccer balls are seemingly a new addition with Week 7. And aiming them is the real challenge, which I learned the hard way:

And you thought soccer was hard in real life.

Along the way, also be cognizant of the other Challenges that might be active for you from Week 7 or earlier. One Challenge has players deal damage with their pick axe, so if you land on a pitch with someone else hoping to score a goal, hack at them while you kick that ball.

The Week 7 Treasure Map hunt leads to a location just east of Tilted Towers, which itself isn’t all that far from a soccer pitch to the west of the city. You also need to consume 20 Hop Rocks, Apples, or Mushrooms.

Like all new Challenges in Season 4, these will be active until the season ends on or around July 9, so you’ll have plenty of time to complete these tasks. But there’s no better time than right now.
