'Westworld' Season 2 Spoilers: Angela Is Even More Badass Than We Realized

Once you see this you'll never unsee it.

Angela went out with a bang in the most recent episode of Westworld, cementing her spot as one of the most badass characters in the show’s second season. However, it turns out that the Host (played by Elon Musk’s ex-wife Talulah Riley) was even more hardcore than we thought.

Warning: Spoilers for Westworld Season 2 Episode 7.

Following Angela’s explosive death in Westworld Season 2 Episode 7, in which she seduces a security officer, pulls the pin from a grenade on his vest, and blows up an entire room of servers built as a backup for the park’s Hosts, the actress clarified one key detail on Twitter. It turns out the bloody headband she’s been wearing all season wasn’t a crown of thorns, as some people previously suggested. Instead, it’s something far more intense.

That’s right, Angela has been wearing a crown of the severed fingers of her human victims all season. How’s that for a robot rebellion? Sure, this might takeaway from some of the Jesus metaphor Westworld seems to be building towards in Season 2, but it’s safe to say that in this case the truth is way more interesting.

Unfortunately, just as we’re learning just how awesome Angela really was it seems we’re also saying goodbye to her character. Even if we didn’t get a 100 percent confirmed onscreen death, that explosion didn’t really leave much to chance. More importantly, it also took out The Cradle where all the Host backups are stored. So there’s no possible way to bring her back again unless Westworld has one more twist waiting to surprise us. And, let’s be honest, knowing this show it probably does.

Until then we’ll leave you with a simple reminder: Don’t mess with Angela.
