'Avengers: Infinity War' Website Will Tell You If Thanos Killed You or Not

Did you survive the ending of Avengers: Infinity War? A new website will let you know. Spoilers for Avengers: Infinity War ahead.

Since Avengers: Infinity War was released, Marvel fans are reeling from the depressing note the massive superhero blockbuster ended on. After defeating the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy to collect all the Infinity Stones, Thanos, played by Josh Brolin (of W fame), wiped out literally half the universe with the snap of his fingers. The film ends with half of all of existence disappearing before everyone’s eyes.

Now, a simple new website, www.didthanoskillme.com, lets you know if you survived Thanos or if you were sacrificed, “for the good of the universe.” Based on a simple cookie tracker, the website brings up one of two of the options. From a personal experience, I’ve visited the website on my personal laptop, my work laptop, and my cell phone, and all three times I died. So, uh, I really don’t think there’s any way around it. I’m dead, as are my colleagues.

While the ending of Infinity War has inspired a surge of new memes, the storyline happened nearly 25 years ago. In 1991’s The Infinity Gauntlet by Jim Starlin, Thanos succeeding in collecting the Infinity Gems and also wiped out half the universe. Unlike the film, Thanos’s genocide springs the surviving heroes into action, including heroes who weren’t seen in the film, like Wolverine, Namor the Sub-mariner, and even Cloak, who will be played by Aubrey Joseph in Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger on Freefrom this June.

I don't feel so good...
