Starbucks took the wraps off its next limited edition Frappuccino on Thursday, and it looks fantastic. The Christmas Tree Frappuccino, designed to look like its festive namesake, packs a peppermint punch with a number of decorations in the cream.
The drink begins with a Peppermint Mocha Crème Frappuccino. The store then puts matcha flavor whipped cream on top, to make it look like a tree. A caramel drizzle, to look like a “garland,” is poured over the top, candied cranberries sit in the cream as ornaments, and the whole thing is topped off with a strawberry.
The release follows a number of Halloween-inspired drinks over October. The Zombie Frappuccino contained green caramel apple powder, pink “brains” whipped cream and a “pink mocha drizzle.” Outside of the United States, customers were treated to the Mr. and Mrs. Vampire Frappuccino with red bites in the white cream. Other limited drinks include the contentious Unicorn Frappuccino and the Dragon Frappuccino.
Unfortunately, you’ll have to act fast if you want to get your hands on the Christmas Tree Frappuccino. The drink will only be available in stores in the United States and Canada from December 7 to the 11th, so best start making plans now if you want to try a frappuccino that looks like a Christmas tree. And I mean, who doesn’t want to do that?
