Showtime Debuts New 'Twin Peaks' Teaser That Shows Deputy Hawk (and David Lynch?)

That is a damn fine teaser.

We won’t get to see a new full season of the highly anticipated Twin Peaks revival until sometime in 2017, but Showtime decided to give fans a fairly brief and insubstantial, but goosebumps-inducing teaser for the series just in time for Christmas.

“Location sometimes becomes a character,” says actor Michael Horse, who played Deputy Tommy “Hawk” Hill during the original run of the series. He’s apparently back. “Theres a lot of holy places up here, a lot of sacred places.”

“I can’t put my finger on how I would describe it,” Horse continues. “It just touches something in the psyche. It’s almost like being in a moving painting.”

Oh, and is that David Lynch himself haunting the closing moments?
