'Fortnite' Wooden Rabbit, Stone Pig, and Metal Llama Locations and Map

Bow before your animal gods!

Every Fortnite: Battle Royale veteran should be familiar with the three giant animal landmarks each comprised of a different building material, and a new challenge in Season 8, Week 6 tasks all of us with visiting each of them. Week 6 began Thursday morning, bringing with it this challenge to “visit a wooden rabbit, a stone pig, and a metal llama.” Here’s what you need to know.

The wording to this challenge is weird mainly because there’s only one of each on the island, and they’re so huge they’re virtually impossible to miss. The llama is basically the mascot of Fortnite, and supply llamas are some of the best things to find in terms of loot. Why a rabbit and pig are on par with the llama is a mystery we will never learn.

Each of these three monuments is located on the coast somewhere and they’re quite far apart, with pig being the outlier near Lucky Landing. You can try finding a vehicle to reach all three in one go, namely a Quadcrasher or Baller, but we don’t recommend it. If you do, however, be sure to factor in the battle bus and storm trajectory when making choices about where to go.

These locations are rather far apart, but there are ways to make this easier.

It would be far faster to land directly on top of a monument and then leap to your watery death off the side of the cliff and into the ocean to then restart another match immediately. Because these don’t have to be visited in a single match, why not take this approach? We definitely advise as much, especially for visiting the Lucky Landing pig.

It is, however, absolutely possible to do the llama and rabbit in a single match.

If you go to the wooden rabbit and work your way northeast a little bit, you should be able to find a Quadcrasher in a small settlement of houses before reaching Haunted Hills. From there, it should be an easy drive up to the area northwest of Junk Junction — unless somebody eliminates you first.

The in-game countdown indicates that Season 8 ends on May 8, so players have until then to complete this and other challenges before Season 9 arrives.

Fortnite: Battle Royale Season 8, Week 7 should begin the morning of Thursday, April 11.
