In a less-exciting crossover than the Fortnite and Infinity War mash-up game mode, Twitch Prime just released a second Twitch Prime Pack of exclusive Fortnite: Battle Royale gear. The cosmetic items themselves are totally fine, and you might as well grab them if you already have Amazon Prime and the accompanying Twitch Prime account. So how do you make this happen?

Twitch announced on Tuesday that beginning Wednesday, May 9, Twitch Prime members are eligible to receive a second set of four exclusive loot packages containing cosmetic items for Fortnite: Battle Royale. As of this writing, the first Twitch Prime Pack is no longer available and players can access the second.

The whole process is incredibly convoluted, requiring you to link your Epic Games account to your console account (PSN, Xbox, or PC profile), and then linking that account to your Twitch account, which has to be linked to your Amazon Prime account for all of this to work. (Still following?)

The shortest way to access the goods is by clicking here but you might first need to complete the following steps to set up all your accounts:

  • If you already have Amazon Prime but haven’t signed up for your free Twitch Prime account, you can do that here by selecting “connect your Twitch account” on the right side of the page. If you already have that set up, then skip to the next step.
  • Go to Twitch.tv and log into your account.
  • Click on the crown icon in the top-right — called “Prime Loot” — and scroll down until you find “Fortnite Twitch Prime Pack”
  • Select “Claim Offer”
  • You might have to connect your Epic Games account to your Twitch account at this point, which you can also do here. There, you’ll have to sign in using your PSN, Xbox, or PC login credentials. Then, it’ll allow you to log into and authorize your Twitch account as part of the same process.
  • When you log into Fortnite on any console or device after this, your loot will be in your inventory.
The second 'Fortnite' Twitch Prime Pack is now available.
If you like militaristic realism in your 'Fortnite' gear then oh boy here you go.

Here’s a full list of everything that’s included as part of the new pack:

  • Trailblazer Outfit: “On the forefront of victory.” — This outfit is totally fine, we guess. But you’d never wear this if you already have the John Wick or Raven outfits.
  • True North Back Bling: “Find your way.” — Another generic backpack?
  • Tenderizer Pickaxe: “Leave a good first impression.” — We kind of love this one, because it’s literally a giant meat tenderizer.
  • Freestylin’ Emote: “Tear up the dance floor.” — Any dancing emote is totally worth it, so consider us excited for this one.

On the plus side of all this, once you have all of these accounts linked and good to go, you can start streaming your Fortnite gameplay directly from your PS4 using the Twitch application. Maybe one day you’ll be famous like Ninja?
