Get Ready for Gladiators and Knights in 'Westworld' Season 2

HBO

Dolores Abernathy could be adding knights and gladiators to the cowboy Host insanity of Westworld.

As reported by Deadline in an article published on Wednesday, Westworld creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy hinted at the very real possibilities of Roman World and Medieval World in Season 2.

While speaking at the 2017 Vanity Fair Summit, Nolan and Joy were asked why Roman World and Medieval World, two of the amusement parks from the original 1973 movie Westworld, were left out.

Nolan responded with: “We had to save something for Season 2.”

The end of Westworld Season 1 teased a Samurai-type world by including, yes, a bunch of samurais in one of the Westworld alcoves, standing around in a similar manner to Westworld’s cowboys, bandits, and farmers.

Apparently, fans of Westworld had better prepare for some Roman gladiators and medieval knights to be riding around on horseback alongside those cowboys. Adding those armies to her cause might officially put Evan Rachel Wood’s Dolores over the top.
