First Glimpse of Lando Calrissian in the Falcon in 'Han Solo'

He’s a gambler, card-player, a scoundrel and we like him. But now, we’ve got our first shot of Lando Calrissian in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon.

On Tuesday, director Ron Howard posted a photo to his Instagram account which showed him “lining up a shot” on the forthcoming Star Wars standalone movie. And, if one zooms in on the photo, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian can be clearly seen hanging out in the Falcon.

There’s not much else that can be discerned from the shot, other than Lando is clearly wearing yellow, and is, at present, not rocking a cape. But what is Lando doing here? Is he mourning the loss of the Falcon to Han Solo in a card game? Is he getting ready to fly the ship on an awesome mission where he smuggles illegal space crystals? Is he thinking about getting some real estate on Cloud City?

On Twitter, Ron Howard gave even more glimpses of Lando punching-it in to hyperspace.

As of now, the Han Solo movie is still set to open on May 25, 2018.
