The body of a Russian rocket re-entering Earth’s atmosphere grabbed the attention of witnesses across Las Vegas on Tuesday.
Shortly after 6 p.m. PST, a bright light was spotted streaking above the city.
U.S. Strategic Command spokeswoman Julie Ziegenhorn has since informed the media that the streaking object was in fact a Russian rocket.
Nonetheless, for a very quick burst of light, it’s living a long life on social media.
