Videos Show Power of South Carolina Floods
Record-setting rain have devastating consequences.

Instead of Hurricane Joaquin, South Carolina got hit with record-setting heavy rain and nearly unbelievable flooding.
CNN reports that 14 South Carolinians (and two North Carolinians) died from drowning and traffic accidents. Horrific scenes include unearthed floating caskets and almost entirely submerged homes. Although the rain has ceased, the damage has not.
According to South Carolina’s Emergency Management Division, at least 10 dams have been breached, leading to further flooding.
The flooding is not only catastrophic but also a frightening reminder of the awesome power of nature.
