We're Hooked on These Incredibly Durable Firefighter Wallets

Choosing a wallet is not an easy decision. It’s something you’re going to carry around every single day and it arguably holds some of your most prized possessions. That’s why we don’t mess around with flimsy fabric or leather wallets (and don’t even get us started on duct tape wallets….). When we’re in the market for a new wallet, we only buy Recycled Firefighter wallets.

Never heard of them? You’re not alone. They’re not too well-known because they’re only made in small batches in the USA. But don’t worry, that doesn’t make them outrageously expensive. They’re super affordable (think less than $50) and are made from insanely durable material, so you won’t need to buy a new one every year. They’re called firefighter wallets because they’re made from recycled military surplus materials — including recycled fire hoses. In fact, since 2014, Recycled Firefighter has repurposed over 15,000 feet of fire hose. That’s a whole lot of material that narrowly avoided the landfills.

The bifold wallet holds way more cards than a standard bifold. It doesn’t have designated card slots, so each leather-lined interior pocket can hold between four and six cards. That’s a lot of cards. And don’t forget cash! The elastic strap on the back of the wallet tightly holds folded bills (but doesn’t add bulk). In fact, the wallet is so slim and compact that it can fit in both back AND front pockets — that means no more faded lines and holes in the back pocket of your favorite jeans from your bulky wallet.

If all of this sounds too good to be true, it is. Just kidding, we wouldn’t lie about something like this. If you don’t trust us, get a firefighter wallet and see for yourself. We guarantee that old leather monogram wallet your mom got you doesn’t stand a chance.
