There are a few reasons we felt comfortable touting these headphones as a great buy for you this holiday shopping weekend.
First, we wanted to select a brand we really trusted. Even at a modest price point of $49.99 we wanted to make sure that the deal you got was from a brand you could trust. To us, Jabra represented a quality brand. Jabra has a long reputation of building quality products. From the Bluetooth headsets they made years ago to the earbuds, headphones and quality products they have on the market now, it’s a good brand that really feels to have a good reputation with their audience.
Second, we were really drawn to the lightweight design. At just over 1 pound (0.45 kg) it’s much lighter than some of its competitors, most notably the Beats by Dre EP on-ear headphones. Those weigh in at 1.5 pounds (0.68 kg).
Where we found some issue, to be sure, was the battery life. It boasts 8 hours of playback which is great to get you through a day but doesn’t last as long as some of its competitors. However, we’re still willing to select this item for you because the price point more than makes up for the lack of strong battery life.
It’s a pair of lightweight headphones with respectable battery life for under $50 dollars. When you put that against other popular headphones in the class you could pay 5-6 times that much. These headphones are going to be perfect for keeping at the office or on your commute. The lack of long lasting battery is only a problem if you’re out and about for extended hours everyday, but otherwise this is a great find.
