Royal Wedding Memes: Ice Tea Dress, Harry's Ex, Hilarious Pageboy, and More

It didn't take long for the memes to show up.

YouTube

Saturday’s royal wedding had people across the world watching Prince Harry marry Meghan Markle in a fairytale-like ceremony in Westminster Abbey in London. As the case with these big events, people celebrated heavily and looked for any little interesting shot that could be used for a meme.

Viewers of the wedding jumped on Twitter and other social media platforms on Saturday to share some of the funnier images from the ceremony, while others made some interesting observations that many may have missed.

Here are some of the funnier memes being shared during and after the wedding.

Royal Arizona Tea

Pippa Middleton, the younger sister of Catherine Middleton the Duchess of Cambridge, showed up at the wedding wearing a dress looking remarkably similar to a can of Arizona Green Tea. Another Twitter user added to the idea showing how some others at the weeding matched up with certain canned drinks.

Watching the Ex

Viewers paid close attention to Chelsy Davy, an ex-girlfriend of Prince Harry, who attended the wedding. Although the two stayed friends, many noticed her reactions throughout the ceremony.

Paging a Star

Aside from the newly married couple, a young page boy stole the show. Twin boys Brian Mulroney and John Mulroney participated in the wedding as pageboys, and one of them (hard to say which) was really excited about the event.

Such Bane-ality

The royal wedding was full of celebrities, but it was actor Tom Hardy that has a reaction that said much more than words could. This is an award-winning actor at work.

Curry FTW

Minister Michael Curry was one of the three religious figures presiding over the royal wedding. A senior figure in the American Episcopal church, he gave a speech about love that touched many of those watching the ceremony.

Now crowned the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will head off to their honeymoon as an average newlywed couple, except for that royalty thing.
