Update: Netflix reuploaded the full trailer.

Netflix shared — and then abruptly pulled — the first real teaser for the upcoming The Defenders miniseries that brings together Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. The short spot shows that all four heroes seem pretty pissed, and it might have contained a hint about when the show is premiering.

The teaser, which is shot from the perspective of an elevator security camera, shows all four heroes walk into an elevator that’s headed down to Midland Circle Financial — the site of the giant hole from Daredevil Season 2. Luke’s got his bullet-ridden hoodie on, and Matt is wearing a normal suit with a mask tied over his head. Presumably, since he’s the only one with a secret identity, he was caught a little off guard. None of them look especially happy to be there, and Jessica angrily destroys the surveillance camera, ending the teaser.

When she rips the camera down, though, the final timestamp in the upper right-hand corner reads “8:18:20:17.” August 18, 2017, is a Friday, which is typically when these Netflix shows drop, and a new website promoting the show confirms that The Defenders will indeed premiere on that date.

It’s unclear why Netflix pulled the trailer, but they reuploaded it shortly after noon.
