Kristen Lopez is an entertainment journalist published in Variety, IndieWire, and The Hollywood Reporter and the Editor-in-Chief of her own newsletter, The Film Maven. She is an author whose first book, But Have You Read the Book, dropped via Running Press and TCM in 2023. Her other books include Popcorn Disabilities, But Have You Read the Book: Romance Edition, and Welcome, Boils and Ghouls: The Complete Oral History of Tales From the Crypt (coming in 2027).
