The 10 Worst Movies of January 2016, a.k.a. Hollywood's "Dump Month"
You didn't let December's year-end awards-grab flicks fool you again, did you?
It’s January and you know what that means: Dump Month! Yes, time for Hollywood to unload all of 2015’s poorly reviewed and genre material in the scope of a few brutal weeks. I’ve quit movie reviewing jobs over this period in the past, and judging by this year’s offerings, I would’ve bailed again. For your consideration, I’ve rounded up 10 of the least impressive trailers for crap you shouldn’t waste your time on, without picking on a couple of indie films that could’ve made the list but, hell, at least they’re trying. Bonus super mega-points to Caged No More as a new offering from the producers of the cinema classic God’s Not Dead.
You ready? Here comes the noise.
Fifty Shades of Black
Dirty Grandpa
Monkey Up
Martyrs (Remake)
A Date With Miss Fortune
Diablo
Trust Fund
Norm Of The North
Ride Along 2
Caged No More
Reminder that The Force Awakens is still in theaters, probably for at least another two or three years.
