Winter Storm Goliath Drops Snow and Ice Across the U.S.

A major winter storm has been rolling over much of the U.S. Monday, from Wisconsin to Nebraska, South Dakota to Minnesota—and the Northeast, as of this writing, is in the storm’s path.

The National Weather Service has warned that a “major storm system” will continue to drop snow and ice through Monday night into Tuesday across the Northern and Central Plains, Great Lakes, and Northeast. In addition, heavy rain and flooding will affect sections of the Central and Southern U.S., with “severe weather” to affect southeastern parts of the U.S.
