Emo Kylo Ren Will Be Every 'Star Wars' Fan's New Favorite Twitter Account
We should've expected this parody as soon as they cast Adam Driver.

Before we commence with the spoilers, it goes without saying that Kylo Ren, the new bad guy in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, is one angry dude. Just look at that mask, and that hissing red lightsaber, and that long black brooding cloak. Kylo’s got some issues. But the best part about the newest Star Wars baddies is that he isn’t really a villain at all, he just wants to be a villain like his grandpa, Darth Vader. Instead of being the dark lord of the Sith like gramps, he’s just a petulant little brat that Force-chokes First Order officers or destroys what’s probably expensive control panels on the third Death Star with his lightsaber just because he doesn’t get his way. All of that angst will eventually make for some amazing character development in the next movies, but now it just makes him look like a spoiled child.
He’s moody, he’s the ultimate millennial, and some would say he’s pretty … emo. Enter: “Emo Kylo Ren,” the best new parody Twitter account that every Star Wars fan should follow immediately. Twitter is the perfect outlet for Kylo to get out his rage and let the world know he’s just misunderstood and maybe a bit of a men’s rights activist asshole. Here are some of his best tweets.

Don’t worry Kylo, someday people will understand you. In all seriousness though, this account is somehow the perfect Star Wars send-up while also being a hilarious commentary on contemporary MRA chauvinism. It’s the best parts about the worst parts of social media all rolled into one.
