'Infinity War' Easter Egg Might Spoil 'Black Panther' Post Credits

The trailer for Avengers: Infinity War has already created more scintillating questions than comic book fans know what to with, but there’s a chance at least one aspect of Marvel’s Black Panther has already been revealed. Because if you think about it, we already might have a good case for what the Black Panther post-credits scene is going to be about: Team Cap showing up in Wakanda.

In the new trailer, it looks like all the various superheroes are split up into three groups. You’ve got the New York City Avengers featuring Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Wong, Spider-Man, and briefly, Bruce “the Hulk’ Banner. Then, you’ve got the Space Avengers, which means Thor, and the Guardians of the Galaxy. And finally, and most tellingly, there’s Team Cap, the Avengers who sided with Steve Rogers during the events of Civil War. These heroes include Bucky, Black Widow, War Machine, Falcon, Okoye, and T’challa, AKA Black Panther. The Hulk is here also, which means he someone leaves NYC and gets over to Wakanda, but the relevant thing is the vast majority of Team Cap is totally in Wakanda, Black Panther’s home turf.

So, how do Captain America, and the rest of Team Cap get to Wakanda? Well, we don’t know yet, but it seems almost assured that the post-credits scene of Black Panther will feature someone from Team Cap (maybe Black Widow) seeking refuge in Wakanda with Black Panther. Before Avengers: Infinity War comes out, the only Marvel Cinematic Universe installment preceding it, is Black Panther. And while the majority of the action in that film looks to be self-contained, it seems like the movie will be forced to have at least one morsel that sets-up Infinity War. And so, if you are placing bets on Black Panther post-credits scenes, the good money is easily on Team Cap crashing Wakanda.

Now, we gotta just figure out where Ant-Man is hiding in all of this footage. Maybe he’s just sitting on Black Panther’s claw?
