Dutch Lives Up to Her 'Killjoy' Title

"Buzzkill" doesn't even begin to cover it.

Syfy

Friday’s episode of SyFy’s Killjoys is not going to be a party, if this clip is any indication.

Last week, after their side quest to find out what the Company had planned for the people inside the wall in Old Town went awry, Johnny and Pawter found themselves in a lot of trouble and very, very happy about it.

The Company, with its many super-evil bad-guy gadgets and technologies, decided that one wall around Old Town simply wasn’t enough, so they threw up another — one that made everyone inside pretty much lose their minds. The people of Old Town were jumping off of buildings and dancing on broken glass, paying no mind to the suffering and horror around them. It was a bizarre dystopian nightmarescape, and it doesn’t look to be letting up anytime soon.

In the upcoming episode of Killjoys, Dutch takes matters into her own hands when she finds everyone’s favorite Qreshi royal and her best friend indoctrinated by Jelco’s Jolly Wall. Johnny and Pawter are stoked to see Dutch, acting absolutely giddy in the face of catastrophe at a small bar. Then they drop a bombshell — they also got married? Sure, we’ll go with it.

Dutch isn’t having any of it, however. She looks puzzled and a little freaked out at her love drunk and brainwashed friends casually drinking while their entire world crumbles around then, and decides to take do what Dutch does best: Fix it. Bang, bang, two shots, two down (and we’re assuming they’re just knocked out). Either way, Dutch is being a total Killjoy.

I guess sometimes the only way to save the people you love is to shoot them. And Dutch has never been one to half-ass it when it comes to saving Johnny’s ass. You know, save for the time she kinda sorta left him jail.

Killjoys airs on Fridays at 9 p.m. Eastern on Syfy.
