Tonight, Human Candy Cane Justin Timberlake released the video for his good-vibe anthem, “Can’t Stop the Feeling”. The video sparked an instant U.S. trend on twitter and earned over 75 thousand YouTube views within its first hour. The song is the theme to DreamWorks’ Trolls, and in a way, the dance-worthy positive vibes recall the release of Pharell’s “Happy” alongside the release of Minions. Either way, the beat is definitely enjoyable, and the video is enough to make even the most bleary-eyed of Timberlake fans smile. Harkening back to his boy-band roots, Timberlake delivers what is likely to be a wide-reaching summer pop anthem for both the families that will listen to it on repeat after the release of Trolls, and the summer vacationer on a road trip.

The video is directed by Mark Romanek, whose previous work includes Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” and Michael Jackson’s “Scream”. That mix of experience came together for a humble look at a few happy folks dancing their troubles away.

The song scored Timberlake his fifth solo No. 1 debut on Billboard’s Hot 100 charts, and Timberlake teased the video earlier this week with a 40-second clip. Naturally, his 5+ million twitter followers were ecstatic:

Adorable as it is joyous, the video may feature dancers from all walks of life, but Timberlake’s signature flair still shines through as he moves in between the scenes that these people occupy. With summer in mind, the video visits a few recognizable locations in California, including the gigantic sign above Randy’s Donuts in Los Angeles. At the end, all of the dancers are named and featured one last time, just in case this video hadn’t already given you a serious cavity.
