E3 2021

6 biggest and best game reveals of E3 2021

E3 2021 may not have been the most exciting E3 ever, but it was still packed with games we’re now dying to play from Nintendo, Xbox, and more.

Here are the 6 biggest game reveals of E3 2021

6. Far Cry 6

Far Cry 6’s multiple appearances focused on the story rather than any gameplay surprises.

We also learned that its season pass lets players take control of previous series villains and includes a copy of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.

5. Halo Infinite

Microsoft

A little more of Halo Infinite’s story was revealed at E3, but multiplayer was the star of the show. Along with new multiplayer footage, we learned that its season passes will remain available for newcomers after each season’s end.

4. Forza Horizon 5

Forza Horizon 5 takes the open-world racer to a gorgeously rendered Mexico on November 9, 2021. Changing seasons return from FH4, and a truckload of new minigames are being added.

3. Starfield

Starfield’s trailer had plenty of pretty interplanetary scenery, but not a lot of game. Instead, we got a planned November 11, 2022 release date and hints at the game’s story, which seems to involve a cosmic mystery.

2. Elden Ring

Elden Ring finally got a new trailer at the Summer Game Fest kickoff. It’s full of enough werewolves, walking pots, and double-jumping horses to keep the loreheads busy until its release on January 21, 2022.

1. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2

Nintendo saved the best for last, finally revealing gameplay footage from Breath of the Wild 2. Along with a 2022 release date, we got a glimpse at the game’s floating island environments, new powers, and Link’s shaggy quarantine hairdo.
