Now, one company is producing an incredibly intricate watch based on Boba Fett’s ship — but don’t get your wallet out yet.

The Boba Fett tourbillon watch comes from Kross Studio, an ultra-high-end collectible designer.

You may have seen the name Kross Studio before. The company previously released a Death Star-themed watch, and earlier this year unveiled one based on The Batman.

But the Boba Fett watch may be its most impressive creation yet. It features a 220-piece tourbillon mechanism — a fancy bit of watchmaking that houses some components in a rotating cage meant to increase its accuracy.

As precise as its engineering is, the real point of the Boba Fett watch is to be an eye-catching collector’s item.

The centerpiece of the design is a screen-accurate scale model of Boba Fett’s ship mounted on the tourbillon cage, which rotates as the watch keeps time.

According to Kross Studio, it takes 90 hours to craft each watch in its studio in Switzerland.

So it may be unsurprising that only 10 of the timepieces are being made.

If that hasn’t dashed your dreams of snagging one of these Boba Fett showpieces for yourself, the price tag will probably do the trick.

Each of the 10 watches retails for an astronomical $120,000 — enough for a down payment on a starship of your own.

This is as close as most of us are ever likely to get the watch, but at least that means we don’t have to worry about breaking an irreplaceable piece of Star Wars memorabilia.
