Pokémon Unite tier lists reveal the 8 best Pokémon

A deep dive into the very best like no one ever was!

Pokémon Unite is giving those adorable Pocket Monsters a new way to beat the hell out of each other, this time in a team-based MOBA — or multiplayer online battle arena.

You may have a favorite Pokémon already, but with new stats and attacks in Pokémon Unite, you’ll want to see how your fav stacks up to the competition.

Based on our tier list, here are the 8 best Pokémon to use

B-Tier
8. Gengar

With this high-damage Pokémon, you can attack at range, then quickly close on your opponent. Using Sludge Bomb to inflict poison then teleporting in with Hex is a killer one-two punch.

A-Tier
7. Eldegoss

Eldegoss can deal some decent ranged damage, but its true strength comes from keeping your team in the fight as Pokémon Unite’s premier healer.

6. Alonan Ninetails

Though it’s not very mobile, Alonan Ninetails pairs excellent ranged damage with a movement-slowing debuff that lets your allies easily close in to finish off foes.

5. Cinderace

Cinderace is a quick, damage-dealing machine, with attacks that deal fire damage and even a special move that makes it briefly invincible.

4. Absol

There’s nothing too tricky about Absol; it’s just a fast, powerful damage dealer that gets the job done (when the job is walloping other Pokémon before they know what hit them).

S-Tier
3. Snorlax

In Pokémon Unite, Snorlax does what it does best: block paths. Snorlax’s sky-high endurance makes this defender tough to take down, and it deals decent damage to boot.

2. Cramorant

Everyone’s favorite vore bird is also one of Pokémon Unite’s star players. It deals major ranged damage, with enough endurance and mobility to keep it alive when opponents get too close.

1. Zeraora

Zeraora is as fun to play as it is annoying to spell. Despite its low health, Zeraora’s speed and damage make it an absolute beast on the battlefield.
