A from-the-ground-up remake of the original game.
After what felt like a year’s worth of rumors and reports, Naughty Dog finally announced The Last of Us Part 1, a remake of the original game.

The new remake will incorportate the same AI features from The Last of Us Part 2.
Along with 4K visuals at 60 frames per second.
Naughty Dog confirmed the remake will also include “modernized gameplay, improved controls, and expanded accessibility options.”
The art style has been slightly altered, resembling The Last of Us Part 2, which looks far more realistic.
The Last of Us Part 1 will also implement haptic feedback features and will make use of the DualSense controller’s adaptive triggers.
This remake will serve as the definitive edition of the beloved game, which first debuted for PS3 in 2013.
The package includes the Left Behind prequel story, as well, which originally launched as DLC in 2014.
The Last of Us Part 1 is coming to PS5 on September 2, 2022 (with a PC version in the works, as well).
