McMurtry has been breaking records with its EV hypercar, the Spéirling, but it just announced a production version that will go to market next year. The only question is if you have $1 million ready to blow on this track toy.

McMurtry says its Spéirling Pure will cost £820,000, or just over $1 million. That’s not even counting taxes. You are paying for what you get with this beast of an EV that’s designed for track days.

What separates the Spéirling from other electric hypercars is its downforce-on-demand system that uses powerful fans to generate a ton of additional downforce.

McMurtry modified its original Spéirling design to get the production version, but they kept the sleek Batmobile look with its aggressive curves and lightweight design.

McMurtry says you can get the first look at a prototype of the Spéirling Pure at the Goodwood Festival of Speed from July 13 to 16. After that, the British EV startup says that prototypes will be completed in 2024 with 100 production models starting deliveries in 2025.
