DEPOP
Like with Bump, you can buy or sell sneakers, streetwear and just about any hyped or vintage item on Depop. But what makes Depop stand out is its user interface, which clearly takes a design cue from Instagram. You can like people’s posts, there are hashtags to make it easier to find the products or brands you’re looking for, and over time the app learns your style and shows you recommendations based on that. DROPLIST
There’s no buying or selling on Droplist. Instead, the app gives you a schedule of upcoming sneaker and streetwear releases from major brands, including Nike, Adidas, Supreme, Palace, Bape, Dior and more. As popular as StockX is, GOAT is just the better app for people who don’t mind paying resale prices on sneakers and streetwear. It has a sleeker design, cheaper prices, and perhaps most importantly, it didn’t lie about getting hacked. One of GOAT’s best features is Instant Ship, which sends items your way immediately after placing an order, rather than making you wait the normal 1-2 weeks it takes due to the authentication process. You do have to pay extra for Instant Ship, but it’s worth it if you want to buy sneakers or apparel that has already been verified and can be at your doorstep within a few days. (iOS, Android)

The best thing about Grailed is its robust catalogue, which offers curated, peer-to-peer menswear from basically every high-end brand imaginable. Yes, you can buy and sell a ton of Supreme, but on Grailed you can also shop for new and lightly used Gucci, Raf Simons, Rick Owens and Saint Laurent. For Nike and Air Jordan die-hards, the J23 app is a must. The app, which costs $1.99, has one main purpose: to send push notifications to your smartphone anytime a Nike or Jordan sneaker drops unexpectedly, either on SNKRS or another app. Aside from that feature, J23 has a release schedule of upcoming Air Jordans, plus a detailed history of all 34 flagship Jumpman models.
