Turn 10 Studios and Microsoft finally showed gameplay for the Forza Motorsport reboot during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase 2022, and it looks incredible.

The Forza Motorsport reboot received two showings during the Xbox presentation.

The first was a quick trailer that revealed a spring 2023 release window.

This is highly unusual for the series, as Forza games have almost always launched in the fall.

The other video was a gameplay deep dive, showcasing dynamic weather, beautiful visuals, and some of the new tracks.

The game is beautiful — as expected — but based on the footage, it may just be the best-looking racing game ever.

Expect hyper-realistic visuals, with ray tracing at the forefront.

One new addition this time around is a tire and fuel management mechanic — a first for the Forza Motorsport series.

Detailed car damage will be featured prominently in Forza Motorsport, even down to the individual scratches on each vehicle.
