During the September 2021 Direct, Nintendo debuted another Metroid Dread trailer, which showcased a slew of enemies.
While we only got a brief glimpse of Samus’ foes, an abundance of them were shown.
Here are 8 enemies shown off during the Metroid Dread Nintendo Direct
1. Autsharp
With its deadly spinning blade, Samus will need to approach cautiously. We hear bombs do the trick.
2. Hecathon
This is a somewhat peaceful creature. Don’t attack it and it won’t attack you.
3. Klaida
Yet another enemy that won’t attack Samus first — you’ll want to avoid touching this creature so you don’t take damage.
4. Autsniper
Stay out of its line of sight. If you’re spotted, a well-timed Melee Counter works wonders.
5. Obsydomithon
This creature only attacks when you get close. Beware of its flaming burst attack.
6. Muzby
Due to its thick skin, you’ll have to resort to high-powered attacks to take it down.
7. Quetzoa
Being quick on your feet is key to avoiding this enemy’s attacks. It can easily swoop in and deal lots of damage.
8. Slaaga
Avoid this foe’s deadly acid attacks by jumping or using the Flash Shift ability.
