Cyberpunk 2077 might seem like the far-flung future with its flying cars and cyborg Keanu Reeves, but a photo contest run by the game's developer CD Projekt Red to proves that tomorrow is much closer than it seems.

The makers of Cyberpunk 2077 asked fans to "capture the dark future" all around them, and the resulting photographs were nothing short of stunning and uncanny.

All of the following photos were taken by real people in real places — even if it might look like they were taken in some sci-fi dystopia of tomorrow.
