Activision has finally shown Modern Warfare II in action, with a gruesome gameplay trailer.

The Modern Warfare II trailer kicked off with a thrilling car chase sequence, leading to a first-person segment that hopefully resembles gameplay.
It also included a boatload of action, but with less of an emphasis on large-scale military warfare.
Though, that doesn’t mean Modern Warfare II will be dropping bombastic battles altogether.
One segment during the trailer showed off a boat that looked exactly like the Wetwork map from Call of Duty 4.
And of course, expect to see returning characters such as Captain John Price.
Along with Lieutenant Simon "Ghost" Riley...
And Captain John "Soap" MacTavish, all of whom appeared in previous Modern Warfare games.
Lighting will also play a major role in Modern Warfare II, and we’re curious to see how it looks during actual gameplay.
