As part of Summer Game Fest 2022 on June 9, Activision finally showed gameplay for Modern Warfare II, featuring an action-packed ship infiltration, mirroring the first level of Call of Duty 4.

The trailer began with a team of operatives infiltrating a ship in the middle of the ocean.
As is typical, the team aimed to be stealthy during the infiltration, but...
...things quickly went off the rails.
The ship itself looked a lot like the Wetwork map from Call of Duty 4, which was the main setting for the first level.
The protagonist was also seen using what appears to be the Model 680 shotgun, which appeared in Modern Warfare 2019.

One of the trailer’s highlights was its use of water, which was seen crashing upon a smaller boat.
With this being a Call of Duty game, you can expect plenty of explosions, as well.
