Vantage is the newest Apex Legends character who will join the game alongside Season 14: Hunted on August 9, 2022. She’ll make a fascinating new addition to the game’s roster.

Here’s what you need to know about Vantage, the newest Apex Legend character.

Referred to as a “Sniper Savant,” Vantage is an expert with long-ranged rifles.

Vantage, AKA Xiomara “Mara” Contreras, is the daughter of Xenia, a wrongfully convicted criminal who ends up in jail once again.

Vantage then attempts to rescue her mother from prison, despite being advised not to.

Vantage is a survivor who hails from the ice planet Págos. She uses her survival abilities during the Apex Games, giving her an advantage over the competition.

Alongside Vantage is her companion, a bat named Echo who doesn’t leave her side. In fact, Echo is responsible for saving Vantage’s life on Págos. Thankfully, Echo cannot be eliminated on the battlefield.

Passive Ability: Spotter’s Lens

Vantage utilizes a Passive called Spotter Lens, allowing her to gather intel on enemy squads from afar. She’ll gain access to details such as Legend name, shield rarity, range, and even team size. Use this information to plan an attack against your foes.

Tactical Ability: Echo Relocation

Vantage’s Tactical ability Echo Relocation helps her reposition with the use of her jetpack, launching her towards Echo quickly. Use this ability to quickly get out of harm’s way, or to close in on an enemy.

Ultimate Ability: Sniper’s Mark

Vantage’s Ultimate is called Sniper’s Mark, and it’s highly effective. This ability highlights enemies for 10 seconds if you land a hit on them, and each subsequent shot deals more damage, making this Ultimate devastating if you can stick to your target.
