Sony Interactive Entertainment On September 9, 2021, Sony held the PlayStation Showcase 2021 to show off games coming to PlayStation 5 in the coming years.

Sony Interactive Entertainment Numerous exciting games were featured during the show, but these 5 were easily the most shocking announcements of the bunch.

5. Knights of the Old Republic Remake No one could’ve predicted that Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic would’ve kicked off the showcase! Aspyr

Aspyr The KOTOR remake from Aspyr is real and it’s coming to PS5. No release date was shared.

4. Forspoken ’s release window We finally got to see more of Square Enix’s Forespoken during the showcase. Square Enix

Square Enix This magic-based action RPG will be released in Spring 2022.

3. Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection Fans of Uncharted will be happy to see that Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy are getting remastered for PS5 and PC. Sony Interactive Entertainment

Sony Inteactive Entertainment The remaster is handled by Iron Galaxy Studios, not Naughty Dog, and will be released in early 2022.

2. Insomniac is making two new Marvel games As expected, Insomniac Games is making Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 , featuring Venom and Kraven the Hunter. It will be released in 2023.

Sony Interactive Entertainment On top of that, Insomniac confirmed that they are also making a game featuring Wolverine. Are you ready, bub?
