The Switch is home to many beloved Nintendo exclusive franchises, but there are many major games in development that we have not heard about in a long time. And 2021 is looking sparse for Nintendo.

Unfortunately, Nintendo has not revealed anything substantial about the game since then outside of a brief mention during Age of Calamity's reveal.

Last major announcement:

This long-requested sequel was confirmed just months after the Nintendo Switch's launch during E3 2017. But Nintendo's messaging around the game went scarily silent after that.

Sadly, the game ran into development problems and Nintendo decided to reboot the project in 2019, delaying the game indefinitely. When could we hear more?
